JAXON'S 13th BIRTHDAY--
A big advantage of the Anderson's moving to Utah is that Doug and I are able to celebrate (in person) the children's birthdays. On November 17 Jaxon turned 13! We had such a fun time celebrating with him and his family at a movie and Texas Roadhouse (he loves steak). Afterwards, Jennifer and the kids even spent the night since Sabe was out of town.
Jaxon is one of the sweetest young men that I know--so easy to get along with. He has many friends and gets along with everyone without being boisterous or seeking attention. What a joy it is to be able to watch him grow up on a week-to-week basis instead of twice-a-year!

Olivia wore her "Edward" shirt since that is the movie we attended!
The next evening Jennifer and Sabe had all of us come to their house for a birthday party for Jaxon.
We had delicious food and the kids all got in the hot tub. Jaxon does have his swimsuit on in this picture!

Wow! That is a beautiful birthday cake! He is such a nice young man. I'm so glad he got to have such a special birthday party. With all your kids close by, you will soon have as many parties as Beverly and her family has! It seems like they are always having a birthday party! Anyway, it is a joy to celebrate with your kids and grandkids in person, like you said. There is nothing like actually being there!
