BOSTON COMMONS

2.  BOSTON COMMONS--Set aside in 1634 as a military training field and grazing pasture, the Common is the oldest public park in America.  The park served as quarters for British as well as Colonial troops, and later housed Civil War regiments.  The British Army set out for the start of the Revolutionary War from what is now Park Square.

called The Soldiers and Sailors Monument completed in 1877.

The kids loved the swimming pools where we stayed!  Here's Cole diving into the pool; he and Jaxon were just like fish!!
None of the kids were afraid of the water, even Izzy!

I love how the cousins are having so much fun together. They become just like brothers and sisters, don't they?! You can do a lot of things, but there's nothing better than the swimming pool in a hotel, right?!
