Even though we had rented the bigger cabin, Doug, my father and I stayed at the cabin. This way everyone had a bedroom to themselves. However, as the next two pictures prove, the 32-year-old family cabin just can't be beat with its beautiful setting, unforgettable memories and the feeling of peace every morning!
Pelicans out fishing in the morning...
...and our own private dock--just beautiful!!!
Heather with Hattie on the boat holding Benson
Jaden about to try the wakeboard for the season (He wanted this picture for his Facebook page so he kept his hat on.).
He did a great job!!!
Cute Hattie with her father
Cole on the wakeboard--he got up the second time!
Jaxon's first time on the wakeboard!
The new homes across from Bill's Island look like they belong in Sun Valley.
Hillary helped the little girls gather flowers for their parents...
...and then she used her amazing talent and made them into boutineers and corsages!!!
Jaden and Cole competed against...
Adam and Jaxon in a game of fuseball.
While Jennifer was taking pictures of the grandkids, I snapped this one of Hattie in her pink tutu!
The Lake Family
The Hyde Family
Rett (Andrea's)
Andrea and Rett
8/10 granddaughters minus McKenna and Olivia
All 8 of our grandsons! We have two more grandsons on the way--Heather in November and Michele in January--to make it an even 10 and 10!!!
Our seven girls--Heather, Andrea, Jennifer, Ashley, Camille, Michele and Hillary
We invited my sweet father to come with us to our reunion. Everyone enjoyed him so much, and he enjoyed getting to know his great-grandchildren that live so far away!
Oh, the joy of sitting around the campfire...
...roasting marshmallows...
...making sure they get toasted just right...
...and enjoying eating them between two graham crackers and a Hershey chocolate bar!!!
I guess there weren't enough roasting sticks--Jaden had to improvise!
Jennifer with Izzy and their dog, Louie!
Michele and her grandfather with the cabin in the background! The end of another wonderful day with family!!!

You all looked like you were having such a good time together. It makes me want to visit the cabin again and relive all those memories we've had for so many years!
Mom, I love all the pictures you caught, you do such a good job at that. Do you remember my good friend Mattie Daines from high school? Well, she saw my blog and said that her family has been to that same cabin the last 5 years...small world huh? Anyway, I wish I could go back, that was such a fun time with our family. THanks again for providing such a good time and place.
I can always count on you for documenting things well with pictures...it was a great trip! It would have just been even greater if Tom were there:( Thanks!
