RIGBY FAMILY CARIBBEAN CRUISE - JANUARY 11-20, 2008
Doug and I just returned from a 7-day Southern Caribbean cruise, a gift from my father. He took all seven of his children and their spouses. We had the most wonderful time--talk about memories that will last forever! I have six great brothers and sisters and brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws (they were so much fun), and my 84-year-old father (85 in April) did so well with all of our activities. My one brother-in-law, George Copeland, couldn't come on the cruise. We missed him!
We flew to San Juan, Puerto (we spent two nights there coming and going) and then cruised to five other islands: St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Antigua, St. Lucia and Barbados. The weather was beautiful, the company great--the trip just couldn't have been more ideal, except for one major problem; Doug reinjured his latissmus muscle in his armpit a week before we left and was on Lortab in our cabin most of the time! However, he participated in a couple of excursions, ate the evening meals with us and attended a few shows. We all admired how he didn't complain and didn't make me feel guilty leaving him all the time.

I love all the photos from our trip. You did such a nice job recapping the trip. What a great family. We had such a good time together and it all worked out wonderfully well. Thanks for all your help in organizing it. I know you set up the birthday surprise, too. It was just fun!! Love, Bev
