Tom was unable to be with us this July for our reunion because he was in Guatemala with work. We kept trying to go boating after he returned home, but our schedule just didn't work with his and vise versa. Sooooo, we finally made it on Saturday, 9/11. The weather was perfect and there weren't many people on the lake; we felt like we had the water all to ourselves.
Even a little one-year-old boy knows how cool a big truck is!!!Tom was the first one out on the kneeboard.
He proved to us (and himself) that he still could do 360's.
Needless to say,...
...he enjoyed every minute being out in the water again!
I showed this picture to show you how beautiful Ogden Canyon is!
Hillary and the girls watching Tom
Elsie was always ready to hold up the flag!
We forgot to bring batteries for the pump to blow up the inflatable tube, but at least the girls had fun...
...with their dad, mom, each other and their grandparents,...
...just being in the sun...
...and feeding the seagulls!
Cohen was pretty fascinated to see all of the seagulls gather when we started throwing a few chips in the water.
Cohen and the captain of the boat! Doug enjoyed driving the boat...
...and I enjoyed holding the grandkids!
Hillary loves waterskiing I think as much as Tom.
She does a great job! Tom admits that Hillary is better on the kneeboard than himself.
We took a break from the boat for awhile...
...and made sandcastles on the beach!
It was a fun, fun day! We're so glad to have Tom, Hillary and their kids living so close by!

We can't wait for you guys to come down here with the boat! Weather should still be good considering it was 101 today!
That last pic is really cute of Tom and Hill. How fun to have been able to do that with Tom. Seeing those pics of Tom skiing made me miss all those times we'd go boating as a family...and now we have a boat again!

Such a great day together. There is nothing better than a boat for a family together day. Everyone sits and enjoys each other and it looks like you did exactly that. Tom and Hilary have a sweet little family. So glad you can be close to them to enjoy the kids as they grow up.
We live close to Grandma and Grandpa...neener neener neener:) Thanks for the fun day!
How fun Joyce! That boat of yours is making sooo many memories. I can't believe Tom AND Hilary on the kneeboard. I'm sooo impressed!
